Renting The Popcorn Machine How to Get Popcorn The renting of the popcorn machine is free for any student, faculty or staff member at Century College. However, the purchasing of the popcorn can be done the following ways: 1. Purchase your own popcorn, butter, and salt (we recommend using Sam’s Club for these items) 2. If it is for an activity for Century College students, the popcorn can be obtained free 3. If it is a non-student event you can order popcorn through the Connection. The Popcorn Machine Policy 1. To reserve the machine please contact Jenn Rassett at 651-747-4015 2. The machine may not leave the Century College campus. 3. When placing a reservation we will need to know A. The sponsoring individual/group and contact information B. The location of the event C. The time frame you will need the machine D. How many people are expected at the event 4. It is the reserving party’s responsibility to pick up and drop off the machine at the Connection. 5. The popcorn machine must be cleaned upon return. POPCORN DIRECTIONS 1. Let warm up for 5 minutes 2. Place 1/2 cup butter and one tablespoon salt in the kettle 3. Place one and a half cups of popcorn kernels 4. When popcorn slows down, tip kettle. 5.
